About Us….We met six years ago at a cheerleading camp in Florida, and it was love at first sight. We had an immediate bond and knew we would be together forever. One thing that makes our relationship so strong and stable is our respect to the commitment we made to each other. Loving each other unconditionally through the good times and bad is another important part of what makes our relationship work. We believe in living life one day at a time through laughter, friends, and family.

Our Careers…..We have amazing careers that allow us to work with children. Patrick is a fourth grade elementary school teacher who loves working with his students. Patrick’s schedule is flexible with summer, afternoons, and holidays off. He can’t wait to take walks to the neighborhood park, ride roller coasters at Six Flags over Georgia, or enjoy a summer afternoon of crafts with our child. Lorenzo is the program director of a nationally known cheerleading gym. He works with kids of all ages and loves his job. Lorenzo has a flexible schedule and is looking forward to having lunch with our child every day.

Our Interests….Our interests include anything from cooking to traveling. Lorenzo loves to bake and cook. He can’t wait to watch our child lick frosting from the mixing bowl after making cupcakes or help with the finishing touches on Thanksgiving dinner. Patrick enjoys reading and is excited about sharing the “Harry Potter” series with our child. We also love to travel and can’t wait to show our child giraffes in Africa and monkeys in Asia.

Our Home…We live in Phenix City, Alabama which is located two hours from Atlanta, Georgia. We have a safe and comfortable home in a friendly neighborhood. Our neighborhood is filled with children playing tag and we can’t wait to hear our child’s laughter as they yell “Tag, you’re it!” Our warm family room is our favorite place in the house and our bright kitchen will be the perfect place to cut out cookies for classroom parties. We are looking forward to sitting by the fire place sharing a bowl of popcorn, while watching a movie with our child. We can’t wait for our home to be the summertime hangout for our child and all of their friends. Our front yard will be the setting for bike riding adventures, making new friends, and lots of play time. Our fenced-in backyard will be the perfect place for secrets forts and magical castles. It’s also a great place for our lovable Great Danes, Neptune and Venus, to run and play. They are gentle giants who love children and are an important part of our family.

Our Families….We are extremely close to our families. Patrick’s family lives close by, and Grandma and Grandpa are excited about having another grandson or granddaughter. They can’t wait to ride the train or pet the goats at the petting zoo with our child at Noccalula Falls Park. We also love spending Christmas holidays with Patrick’s family. We can’t wait to go to the tree farm with our child and cut down a Christmas tree to decorate at Granny’s and Grandpa’s. Lorenzo’s family lives in Columbus, Georgia, which is about ten minutes away from our home. Granny loves to spend the summers in Panama City Beach and can’t wait to build sand castles with her grandchild.

Lorenzo talking about Patrick….Patrick is the most caring and compassionate person I know. My love for him grows more and more with every new day. The first time I looked into his eyes, I knew we were meant to be together. I am very excited to start a family with him! I love how Patrick has always talked about being a father and I know in my heart he will be a great Dad! Patrick makes me smile and makes my day so much brighter.

Patrick talking about Lorenzo….Lorenzo is a loving and caring person who always puts his family and friends first. Taking care of people is something he really enjoys doing. Every time I think of his smile, my heart flutters and I realize how blessed I am to have him in my life. He makes me feel special, and his love for me is unquestionable. We share such a strong connection with each other, and we celebrate our love every day. Lorenzo is creative, especially in the garden, and brings out that side of me all the time. I can’t wait to see him and our child playing in the dirt as they plant flowers. I love Lorenzo with every ounce of me and know he will be an amazing Dad!
